Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design is just a bit better than Motorola Moto Z Play, getting a global score of 80.1 against 74.4. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design has newer 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design's construction is newer than the Motorola Moto Z Play's, but it's a little bit heavier and a bit thicker.
The Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design features a bit faster processing unit than Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design also has a larger amount of RAM. Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design has a slightly better looking screen than Moto Z Play, because it has a quite bigger display, a little bit better display density and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2160px.
The Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design features a little bit better memory to install games and applications than Motorola Moto Z Play, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design features a bit better battery performance than Moto Z Play, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Moto Z Play takes a lot better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Moto Z Play also counts with a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
Although Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto Z Play, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto Z Play. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Moto Z Play, giving up a couple specs and features.
