Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 lite is a little bit better than Motorola Moto Z Play, with a global score of 76.2 against 74.4. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 20 lite has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and Motorola Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo, so it gives you a lot of extra features. Even though the Huawei Mate 20 lite is newer than the Motorola Moto Z Play, it's a little heavier and a little bit thicker.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite has a bit better hardware performance than Moto Z Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 20 lite has a little sharper screen than Moto Z Play, because it has a little larger screen, a just a little higher pixels number per screen inch and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2340px.
Huawei Mate 20 lite and Moto Z Play both feature quite similar cameras, and although the Huawei Mate 20 lite has a bigger aperture to capture better captures and videos in low-light situations, a better 20 MP resolution back-facing camera and better video frame rate, they both have the same video quality.
The Motorola Moto Z Play has a bit more memory for apps and games than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Huawei Mate 20 lite has a bit longer battery life than Moto Z Play, because it has a 7% greater battery capacity.
