Huawei P40 Pro has an overall score of 88.2, which is better than the Motorola Moto Z Play's 74.4 score. The Huawei P40 Pro body is notably newer, but heavier and somewhat thicker than the Motorola Moto Z Play. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P40 Pro has the previous 10 version while Motorola Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo.

Huawei P40 Pro counts with a little bit better processing power than Moto Z Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei P40 Pro also has more RAM memory. Huawei P40 Pro features better battery lifetime than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has a 20% more battery capacity.
