The Moto G 5G Plus body is way newer than the Motorola Moto Z Play's, although it's heavier and thicker. The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus features a little faster CPU than Moto Z Play, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Moto G 5G Plus has a little bit better looking screen than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has a bigger display, a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen.
