Motorola Moto G8 Plus is a bit better than Motorola Moto Z Play, having a 77.6 score against 74.4. Although Motorola Moto G8 Plus is a lot newer than the Motorola Moto Z Play, it's a lot thicker and heavier. Moto G8 Plus features a screen that is just as good as Moto Z Play's screen, because although the Moto G8 Plus has a just a little lower pixels density, it also counts with a little bigger display and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2280.
The Moto Z Play counts with slightly more storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Moto G8 Plus's processor is just as good as the Moto Z Play one, and although the Moto G8 Plus has more RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Moto G8 Plus has a bit longer battery life than Moto Z Play, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. Moto G8 Plus has a superior camera than Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Moto G8 Plus also has a camera with way more megapixels and a bigger camera aperture to take better low light captures.
