Comparison review
Moto Z3 is just a bit better than Motorola Moto Z Play, getting a 77.6 score against 74.4. The Moto Z3 is a newer phone, and it is also a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter than the Motorola Moto Z Play. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Moto Z3 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Moto Z3 counts with a bit better processor than Moto Z Play, and although they both have 8 cores, the Moto Z3 also has 1 GB more RAM. The Motorola Moto Z3 features a bit more vivid screen than Moto Z Play, because it has a slightly better 1080 x 2160 resolution, a bit better display density and a bit larger display.
The Moto Z Play takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Moto Z3, and although they both have the same video quality, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same camera aperture, the Moto Z Play also has a back facing camera with a much better 16 megapixels resolution. The Moto Z3 has more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Moto Z Play, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB, the Moto Z3 also has 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Moto Z Play counts with a bit better battery life than Motorola Moto Z3, because it has a 17 percent more battery capacity.
The Moto Z3 costs a bit more money than Moto Z Play, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
