The Moto Z3 Play is a little bit better than the Moto Z Play, having a 76.3 score against 74.4. The Moto Z3 Play design is newer, a bit lighter and a bit thinner than Moto Z Play. Moto Z3 Play features a screen that's just as good as the screen in Motorola Moto Z Play, although the Moto Z3 Play also has a quite higher pixels count in each inch in the screen, a little higher 1080 x 2160 resolution and a bit bigger display.
The Motorola Moto Z3 Play has more storage capacity for applications and games than Motorola Moto Z Play, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB, the Motorola Moto Z3 Play also has more internal storage. The Moto Z Play counts with a little faster CPU than Moto Z3 Play, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Moto Z3 Play features a camera that's just as good as the Moto Z Play one, because although the Moto Z3 Play has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a lot less mega-pixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture. The Moto Z Play counts with a little longer battery life than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because it has a 17 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Motorola Moto Z3 Play is a better device, it costs a lot more than Moto Z Play, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto Z Play. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Moto Z Play, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
