Galaxy C5 is just a bit better than the Moto Z Play, getting a 76.4 score against 74.4. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy C5 has an older 6.0 Marshmallow version and Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Although Galaxy C5 and Moto Z Play were only released with a couple months difference, Galaxy C5 is just a little thinner and somewhat lighter.
The Moto Z Play counts with a little faster processing unit than Galaxy C5, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Moto Z Play and Samsung Galaxy C5 feature quite similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy C5 has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of screen.
The Moto Z Play features a lot bigger storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy C5, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Moto Z Play has a little bit better camera than Galaxy C5, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for taking photographs and videos in low-light environments, and they both have a 16 megapixels resolution camera in the back, the Moto Z Play also counts with a lot better (4K) video definition.
Moto Z Play counts with superior battery lifetime than Galaxy C5, because it has 3510mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.
