Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Fold has an overall score of 97.6, which is much better than the Motorola Moto Z Play's global score of 74.4. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Fold has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo, so it gives some nice extra features and improved performance. Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is much heavier than the Motorola Moto Z Play, it's just a little bit thinner and incredibly newer.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with just a bit better processing power than Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has 9 GB more RAM. Galaxy Fold features a display that's very similar to the display in Moto Z Play, because although the Galaxy Fold has a quite worse amount of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a better resolution of 1536 x 2152 and a really larger display.

The Galaxy Fold has a bit better camera than Moto Z Play, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a way worse 12 MP resolution back camera, it also counts with a lot bigger aperture. Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with much more storage capacity for applications and games than Moto Z Play, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy Fold has superior battery lifetime than Moto Z Play, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity instead of 3510mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola Moto Z Play, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Moto Z Play. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Fold, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Motorola Moto Z Play, letting go some specs and features.
