The Galaxy M30 is better than Motorola Moto Z Play, having an 82.4 score against 74.4. Both phones in this comparison come with Android OS, but the Galaxy M30 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo. Galaxy M30 is a much newer phone than Motorola Moto Z Play, but it's just a little bit heavier and thicker.

The Moto Z Play and the Galaxy M30 both count with similar displays, because although the Galaxy M30 has a bit inferior pixels amount per screen inch, it also counts with a bigger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2280.
