Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 4 is a bit better than the Moto Z Play, having an 81.6 score against 74.4. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note 4 has an older 5.0 version and Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo. Galaxy Note 4 is a better cellphone than the Moto Z Play, it must be noted that it is also a way older, a little heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone.

Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little faster processing unit than Moto Z Play, because although it has a lower number of cores , and they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Galaxy Note 4 also counts with an additional GPU. The Galaxy Note 4 has a more vivid display than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has a quite bigger display, a higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch of display.

Motorola Moto Z Play features a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto Z Play also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Moto Z Play counts with just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 3510mAh battery size.

The Galaxy Note 4 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Moto Z Play, although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for taking photos and/or video in low light environments, they both have the same video frame rate, the same video resolution and a same resolution back camera.

In addition to being the best phone in our current comparison, Galaxy Note 4 is also cheaper than the Motorola Moto Z Play.
