Comparison review

Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is better than Moto Z Play's 74.4 general score. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo, offering a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements. Galaxy Note8's design is newer, but somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker than the Moto Z Play.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 features just a bit better screen than Moto Z Play, because it has a bit bigger display, a higher count of pixels per display inch and a way better resolution of 1440 x 2960px. Moto Z Play features a quite bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Moto Z Play, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a greater amount of RAM. Moto Z Play features just a little better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 3510mAh battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.

Galaxy Note8 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Moto Z Play, because although it has a much lower resolution camera in the back and a lower video resolution, it also counts with a larger camera aperture.

Galaxy Note8 costs a lot more money than Moto Z Play, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
