Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S4 is a bit better than the Moto Z Play, having a 79 score against 74.4. Although the Samsung Galaxy S4 is much older and just a little bit thicker than Moto Z Play, it's design is still lighter. These devices come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S4 has older 4.4 version while Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo.

Motorola Moto Z Play features a little better processing power than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM and more cores. The Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with a much better display than Moto Z Play, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the Samsung Galaxy S4 also counts with a little bit better pixels density.

The Moto Z Play has much more storage for games and applications than Galaxy S4, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. Motorola Moto Z Play takes clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a higher 16 MP resolution back facing camera, a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light images.

Motorola Moto Z Play has longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has 3510mAh of battery capacity.

In addition to being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is also very cheap compared to the other phones, which makes it an obvious call.
