Galaxy S5 Plus is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto Z Play, getting a score of 78.1 against 74.4. Galaxy S5 Plus is a notably older and somewhat thicker phone than the Motorola Moto Z Play, but Samsung was able to make it somewhat lighter anyway. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy S5 Plus has the older 4.4.2 version and Motorola Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a better display than Motorola Moto Z Play, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a quite higher count of pixels per display inch. The Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit better processing unit than Moto Z Play, because although it has less CPU cores (although faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics co-processor.

The Motorola Moto Z Play has a lot bigger memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB and more internal memory capacity. The Moto Z Play has longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3510mAh battery size.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus shoots clearer pictures and videos than Motorola Moto Z Play, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs and videos in poorly lited environments, they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the same video definition and the same video frame rate.

Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Galaxy S5 Plus is also cheaper than the other phone.
