The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a score of 85.7, which is much better than the Motorola Moto Z Play's general score of 74.4. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge body has the same thickness than Motorola Moto Z Play, but it is lighter. Both of these phones have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has the previous 5.0 version while Motorola Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Galaxy S6 Edge has a superior processing power than Motorola Moto Z Play, and although they both have 8 processing cores and 3 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has an additional graphics co-processor and a 64 bits processing unit. Galaxy S6 Edge features a much more vibrant screen than Moto Z Play, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution and a greater pixel quantity in each inch in the display.
The Moto Z Play counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Moto Z Play has greater battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 3510mAh battery size.
Moto Z Play shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a smaller camera aperture, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same video frame rates and a same resolution back-facing camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola Moto Z Play, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Moto Z Play. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Motorola Moto Z Play, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
