Comparison review

The Galaxy S7 edge has a general score of 78.1, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto Z Play's overall score of 74.4. Although Galaxy S7 edge and the Motorola Moto Z Play were released only 7 months apart, Galaxy S7 edge's construction is just a little thicker but a little lighter. Both phones we are comparing have the same Android 8.0 Oreo OS (operating system), so they should give the same operating system features.

Galaxy S7 edge features a little more vivid screen than Moto Z Play, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Galaxy S7 edge also has a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a greater screen density. The Motorola Moto Z Play features a superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto Z Play also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The Motorola Moto Z Play features just a little better processing power than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity instead of 3510mAh.

The Galaxy S7 edge has a slightly better camera than Moto Z Play, because although it has a worse (4K) video definition and a much worse 12 MP resolution camera, it also counts with a bigger aperture.

The Galaxy S7 edge costs more money than Moto Z Play, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
