Galaxy S8 has a global score of 81.7, which is slightly better than the Motorola Moto Z Play's global score of 74.4. Galaxy S8's construction is just a bit lighter but a little thicker than the Motorola Moto Z Play, and they were released with only a couple of months difference. Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Motorola Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a greater amount of RAM.

The Galaxy S8 counts with a more vivid display than Moto Z Play, because it has a way better 1440 x 2960 resolution, a little larger display and a greater amount of pixels per inch in the display.
