The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is a little bit better than Moto Z Play, getting a 77.6 score against 74.4. Galaxy XCover 6 Pro's body is noticeably newer, but heavier and noticeably thicker than the Moto Z Play. Both phones we compare here have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro has older 12 version while Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Moto Z Play has a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a quite lower 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a bit higher amount of pixels in each screen inch. Moto Z Play has a really superior performance than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, although it has 3 GB lesser RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro has a much bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Moto Z Play, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1 TB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro has longer battery lifetime than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has a 4050mAh battery size instead of 3510mAh.
Motorola Moto Z Play shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low-light photography and video and a camera in the back with way less MP resolution.
