Comparison review

The Xperia PRO is way better than Moto Z Play, with a score of 94.3 against 74.4. Xperia PRO is a extremely newer phone than Moto Z Play, although it's thicker and a lot heavier. Both devices in this comparison review use Android OS, but the Xperia PRO has the older 10 version and Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

Sony Xperia PRO has a much better looking screen than Moto Z Play, because it has a bigger display, a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a lot better amount of pixels per inch of display. Xperia PRO has a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Moto Z Play, because although it has a SD memory slot that allows up to 1 TB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.

The Xperia PRO has a little bit better hardware performance than Moto Z Play, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia PRO also has more RAM memory. Xperia PRO takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Moto Z Play, because although it has a back-facing camera with a lot lower resolution and a worse (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture.

Xperia PRO has a little better battery performance than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia PRO is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto Z Play, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto Z Play. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Sony Xperia PRO, otherwise you can save some money and get the Moto Z Play, giving up a couple features and specifications.
