Xperia PRO-I has an overall score of 96.3, which is much better than the Moto Z Play's general score of 74.4. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but the Xperia PRO-I has older 11 version while Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo. Even though the Xperia PRO-I is much newer than the Moto Z Play, it is somewhat thicker and extremely heavier.
The Xperia PRO-I has a better looking display than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has a bigger screen, much more pixels per display inch and a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px. The Xperia PRO-I counts with a bit better processor than Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia PRO-I also has 9 GB more RAM.

Sony Xperia PRO-I has improved battery duration than Moto Z Play, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3510mAh.
The Xperia PRO-I counts with a little bit better camera than Motorola Moto Z Play, although it has a back camera with a way lower resolution and a worse (4K) video quality, they both have a F2 diafragm aperture.
