Comparison review

The Xperia Z3 is a bit better than Moto Z Play, with a general score of 77.3 against 74.4. Xperia Z3's construction is extremely older, a little heavier and somewhat thicker than the Moto Z Play. These phones use Android OS, but Xperia Z3 has an older 4.4.4 version and Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Xperia Z3 features a much better looking screen than Moto Z Play, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a just a bit higher pixels density. The Motorola Moto Z Play features a much greater memory to install applications and games than Xperia Z3, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto Z Play also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The Xperia Z3 counts with a little faster processor than Moto Z Play, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), and they both have 3 GB of RAM, the Xperia Z3 also counts with an extra GPU. The Motorola Moto Z Play features just a bit longer battery life than Xperia Z3, because it has 3510mAh of battery capacity.

The Xperia Z3 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Motorola Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same aperture, the Xperia Z3 also has a much better 20.7 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.

Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Xperia Z3 is also by far the cheapest one.
