Comparison review

Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has a general score of 82.9, which is better than Moto Z Play's 74.4 score. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro design is a lot newer than the Moto Z Play's, although it's thicker and heavier. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo version, providing the user lots of additional features.

Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro has just a bit better performance than Motorola Moto Z Play, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro counts with a bit more vivid screen than Moto Z Play, because it has a little greater screen pixels density, a larger screen and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.

Moto Z Play features a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro counts with a very superior camera than Motorola Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro also has a way higher resolution back-facing camera, a larger aperture to capture better low light photography and videos and better 60 fps video frame rates.

The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Moto Z Play, because it has a 14 percent larger battery capacity.
