The Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro has an overall score of 78.7, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto Z Play's general score of 74.4. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro has an older 10 version and Motorola Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro construction is newer, but thicker and a lot heavier than Motorola Moto Z Play.
Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro features just a bit better performance than Motorola Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM. Moto Z Play and Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro feature incredibly similar screens, because although the Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro has a bit worse pixels density, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a bigger display.
The Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro counts with a better camera than Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro also has a bigger camera aperture and a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels. The Moto Z Play has a little bit better storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB.
Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro counts with a way better battery performance than Moto Z Play, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
