Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a general score of 76.6, which is a little bit better than the Moto Z Play's 74.4 score. Both devices in this comparison have Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has 10 version while Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo. Although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is much newer than the Moto Z Play, it's somewhat heavier and thicker.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and Moto Z Play have really similar processors, they have 3 GB of RAM memory and 8 processing cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and Motorola Moto Z Play feature very similar displays, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a just a little worse number of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bigger screen and a slightly better 1080 x 2340 resolution.
Moto Z Play features a much better storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a much longer battery duration than Moto Z Play, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels and a bigger aperture to take better captures and video in low light environments.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 costs a little more than Moto Z Play, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
