ZTE Axon 30 Ultra has a global score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than the Moto Z Play's general score of 74.4. Both phones in our current comparison have Android operating system, but ZTE Axon 30 Ultra has the older 11 version while Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo. Although ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is notably newer than Moto Z Play, it is somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker.
ZTE Axon 30 Ultra counts with a little sharper screen than Motorola Moto Z Play, because although it has a bit inferior pixel amount in each inch of display, it also counts with a larger screen and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400px. The Moto Z Play features a much better memory to store more games and applications than ZTE Axon 30 Ultra, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra has a bit faster CPU than Motorola Moto Z Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra also has more RAM memory. The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra takes greater videos and photos than Motorola Moto Z Play, because it has a lot better 7680x4320 video quality, a back camera with a lot better resolution and a bigger aperture.
ZTE Axon 30 Ultra counts with improved battery lifetime than Moto Z Play, because it has a 31 percent greater battery size.
Although ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto Z Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto Z Play. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Moto Z Play, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
