Comparison review

The Google Nexus 5 is a little bit better than Moto Z, getting a 76 score against 74.5. The Google Nexus 5 construction is a little lighter than the Moto Z, although it's incredibly thicker and was released 3 years before. Both devices in this comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 5 has an older 4.4.3 version while Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Google Nexus 5 has a slightly better looking screen than Moto Z, although it has a just a little lower display pixel density, a quite smaller screen and a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Google Nexus 5 counts with a bit superior CPU than Moto Z, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with an extra graphics processor.

The Motorola Moto Z counts with a much better camera than Google Nexus 5, because it has a much better video resolution, a camera with a way better resolution and a lot bigger aperture for better low-light photography and videos. Motorola Moto Z has a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the Motorola Moto Z also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Moto Z has a little longer battery life than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 2600mAh battery capacity instead of 2300mAh.

Although Google Nexus 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto Z, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto Z. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Google Nexus 5, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Moto Z, giving up some specs and features.
