The Google Pixel XL has a general score of 81.3, which is just a bit better than the Moto Z's 74.5 global score. Although it's the best in our current comparison, we must highlight that it is also a heavier and much thicker phone. The Moto Z and the Google Pixel XL both have incredibly similar displays, they have an equal 1440 x 2560px resolution, the same count of pixels in each inch of screen and a screen with the same size.
Motorola Moto Z counts with a superior storage for games and applications than Google Pixel XL, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Moto Z has a little faster CPU than Google Pixel XL. Both have a 4 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores.
Google Pixel XL captures slightly better photos and videos than Motorola Moto Z, although it has a lower 12.3 megapixels resolution back-facing camera, a worse (4K) video resolution and a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for capturing photos and videos in low-light environments. Google Pixel XL features superior battery lifetime than Motorola Moto Z, because it has a 3450mAh battery size.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola Moto Z, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Moto Z. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Motorola Moto Z, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
