The Huawei P20 has a score of 78.1, which is a bit better than the Moto Z's global score of 74.5. Both phones we are comparing have Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P20 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo version, so it gives some nice extra features. Huawei P20's body is newer than the Moto Z's, but it's somewhat heavier and a lot thicker.
The Moto Z features a little bit better screen than Huawei P20, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a little higher pixel count per inch of screen. The Huawei P20 features a bit faster processor than Moto Z, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Huawei P20 also has a greater number of faster cores.
Huawei P20 features a bit better camera than Motorola Moto Z, although it has a lower resolution camera and a lower (4K) video definition, they both have the same diafragm aperture. Moto Z features a lot bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P20, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.
Huawei P20 counts with superior battery life than Moto Z, because it has a 3400mAh battery size.
