The Samsung Galaxy M31 has an overall score of 86.5, which is better than Motorola Moto Z's 74.5 global score. The Samsung Galaxy M31 body is a lot newer than the Motorola Moto Z's, although it is way heavier and thicker. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy M31 has older 11 version while Motorola Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Moto Z counts with a bit better looking display than Galaxy M31, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a greater pixels density. Galaxy M31 counts with a bit better processing power than Moto Z, because it has more RAM and 4 more processing cores.

Galaxy M31 takes way better photos and videos than Moto Z, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video quality and a same size camera aperture, the Galaxy M31 also has a back camera with lot more MP. The Motorola Moto Z features a slightly bigger storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB.

Galaxy M31 features a very superior battery lifetime than Moto Z, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.
