Google Nexus 6P has a global score of 80.3, which is a little bit better than the Moto Z2 Play's 77.4 global score. Despite being the best we are comparing, the Google Nexus 6P is an older, thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone than the Moto Z2 Play. The Moto Z2 Play counts with a little better processing power than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have 8 cores, the Moto Z2 Play also has a larger amount of RAM.

The Google Nexus 6P features a bit better looking screen than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a better pixel count per inch in the screen, a little bit bigger screen and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a much better memory capacity to install applications and games than Google Nexus 6P, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB.

Google Nexus 6P has just a bit better battery duration than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 3450mAh battery size. Google Nexus 6P features just a bit better camera than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light images and video, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Google Nexus 6P also counts with a camera with more mega pixels.

Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto Z2 Play. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Google Nexus 6P, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Moto Z2 Play, giving up some specs and features.
