Comparison review

Moto Z2 Play has a score of 77.4, which is a bit better than Motorola Droid Turbo's 76.4 general score. Moto Z2 Play is a a lot newer cellphone, and it is also somewhat lighter and notably thinner than Motorola Droid Turbo. The Motorola Droid Turbo counts with a bit faster CPU than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has less processing cores (but faster) and less RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.

The Motorola Droid Turbo counts with a much more vibrant screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a greater screen density. Motorola Droid Turbo captures a little bit better videos and photos than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for taking photos and videos in low-light environments and worse 24 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola Droid Turbo also counts with a way higher 20.7 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.

Moto Z2 Play has much more storage to store more apps and games than Motorola Droid Turbo, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Motorola Droid Turbo counts with improved battery life than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 30% greater battery size.

Although Motorola Moto Z2 Play is a better device, it is a little more expensive than the Motorola Droid Turbo, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola Droid Turbo. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, otherwise you can save some money and get the Motorola Droid Turbo, letting go some features and specs.
