The Galaxy Note9 is better than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, getting an 87.1 score against 77.4. Galaxy Note9 is a newer cellphone than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, but it is extremely thicker and extremely heavier. The Galaxy Note9 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note9 also has more RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a bit sharper display than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a much better resolution of 1440 x 2960, a better pixel density and a bigger display. The Moto Z2 Play features a bit more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note9, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.

Samsung Galaxy Note9 shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same resolution camera, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a bigger aperture to take better low light photos and videos and higher 60 frames per second video frame rate.

Samsung Galaxy Note9 features greater battery life than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Although Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto Z2 Play. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Moto Z2 Play, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
