The iPhone 8 has a score of 85, which is better than the Motorola Moto Z3 Play's 76.3 general score. IPhone 8 is an older and just a bit thicker device than the Motorola Moto Z3 Play, but Apple made it a bit lighter anyway. IPhone 8 counts with a little more vivid display than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, although it has a lot worse 750 x 1334 pixels resolution, a much smaller display and a little bit worse pixels density.
IPhone 8 counts with a greater performance than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a lower number of cores and 2 GB less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU. The Moto Z3 Play counts with a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Apple iPhone 8, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Motorola Moto Z3 Play counts with a much better battery performance than iPhone 8, because it has a 3000mAh battery size. The Apple iPhone 8 captures clearer pictures and videos than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a tinier camera sensor giving a lower image quality and a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same video resolution and a same resolution back facing camera, the Apple iPhone 8 also counts with higher video frame rate.
IPhone 8 costs a lot more money than Moto Z3 Play, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
