Comparison review

Moto Z4 has a score of 79.8, which is slightly better than the Moto Z3's 77.6 overall score. Moto Z4's design is newer, but just a bit heavier and just a little thicker than the Moto Z3. Both devices in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Moto Z4 has older 10 version while Moto Z3 has Android 9.0 Pie version.

Motorola Moto Z3 counts with a bit better display than Motorola Moto Z4, although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, a bit inferior pixels count in each display inch and a quite smaller screen. Moto Z3 has a little bit better storage capacity for games and applications than Moto Z4, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.

Motorola Moto Z3 features a bit faster processor than Motorola Moto Z4. They have the same RAM memory amount and 8 processing cores. Moto Z4 has a much better camera than Motorola Moto Z3, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Moto Z4 also has a lot bigger back camera sensor, a lot higher resolution back-facing camera and a larger aperture.

Motorola Moto Z4 features longer battery performance than Motorola Moto Z3, because it has a 3600mAh battery size.

Although Moto Z4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Motorola Moto Z3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto Z3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Moto Z4, otherwise you can save some money and get the Motorola Moto Z3, giving up a couple specs and features.
