Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a bit better than Moto Z3, getting a 79.3 score against 77.6. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ design has the same thickness than Moto Z3, but it's just a bit lighter. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has 5.1 version and Moto Z3 has Android 9.0 Pie.

Moto Z3 has a greater processing power than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Moto Z3 also has a higher number of cores (and also faster). Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a much better looking display than Motorola Moto Z3, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a greater display density.

The Galaxy S6 edge+ shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Motorola Moto Z3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also has a bigger aperture, a larger back-facing camera sensor and a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.

Moto Z3 counts with a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Moto Z3 also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a battery performance that's very similar to the battery lifetime in Moto Z3.

Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs a lot more than Moto Z3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto Z3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy S6 edge+, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Moto Z3, resigning a couple specs and features.
