The Moto Z4 has a score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 20's overall score of 79.5. Even though Moto Z4 and Huawei Mate 20 were only released with a couple months difference, Moto Z4 is thinner and somewhat lighter. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Moto Z4 has the previous 10 version and Huawei Mate 20 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little sharper screen than Moto Z4, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution and a just a little lower screen density, it also counts with a little bigger display. The Motorola Moto Z4 counts with a much bigger memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Motorola Moto Z4 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a little bit better processing power than Moto Z4. Both have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. Moto Z4 captures better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Moto Z4 also has a larger aperture for better low-light images and video, a larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a much more MP back facing camera.
The Huawei Mate 20 features a little longer battery life than Moto Z4, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
In addition to being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Motorola Moto Z4 is also the cheapest one.
