Comparison review

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a score of 83.4, which is a bit better than Motorola Moto Z4's 79.8 score. Motorola Edge 40 Pro's design is newer, but somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker than Motorola Moto Z4. Both devices in this comparison review use Android OS, but Motorola Edge 40 Pro has the newer 13 version and Motorola Moto Z4 has Android 10 version, so it gives a couple nice extra features.

Motorola Moto Z4 has a much better performance than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has just a bit better looking display than Moto Z4, because although it has a little bit inferior quantity of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a little bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bigger screen.

Motorola Edge 40 Pro shoots better photos and videos than Moto Z4, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for taking pictures in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a better 50 MP resolution back-facing camera, a way better 7680x4320 video quality and a much bigger back camera sensor taking lot higher quality photographs.

Motorola Moto Z4 counts with a bit bigger memory for apps and games than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows up to 512 GB. Motorola Edge 40 Pro features better battery lifetime than Moto Z4, because it has a 4600mAh battery size instead of 3600mAh.
