The Motorola Moto Z4 has a general score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A40's general score of 79.6. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Motorola Moto Z4 has an older 10 version and Samsung Galaxy A40 has Android 11 version. Even though Motorola Moto Z4 and Samsung Galaxy A40 were released only a couple months apart, Motorola Moto Z4's design is heavier but just a little thinner.
The Moto Z4 has a little faster processor than Galaxy A40. Both have 8 CPU cores and a 4 GB RAM. Moto Z4 shoots greater photos and videos than Galaxy A40, and although they both have a F1.7 aperture, the Moto Z4 also has a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back, a way better (4K) video quality and a way larger back-facing camera sensor providing a much better image quality.
