Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Moto Z4 has Android 10, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a much better screen than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and more pixels per display inch. Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a bit more powerful processor than Motorola Moto Z4. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and 4 GB of RAM.

The Motorola Moto Z4 shoots much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low light images, it also counts with a back-facing camera with way more MP, a lot bigger sensor which gives a much better image and video quality and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.

The Moto Z4 has a much bigger storage for apps and games than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 512 GB, the Moto Z4 also has more internal memory capacity.
