Comparison review

The Xperia 1 has a score of 82.6, which is a bit better than Moto Z4's 79.8 global score. Although it's the best cellphone we are comparing, we must highlight that it's also a just a bit heavier and just a little bit thicker cellphone. Sony Xperia 1 features just a bit better hardware performance than Moto Z4, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a higher amount of RAM.

The Xperia 1 features a much better looking display than Moto Z4, because it has a way higher screen pixel density, a little bigger screen and a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px. The Sony Xperia 1's memory to store more games and applications is very similar to Moto Z4's one, they have exactly the same internal memory and an external memory card slot that holds up to 512 GB.

The Moto Z4 has just a little better battery duration than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity. The Motorola Moto Z4 counts with a superior camera than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Motorola Moto Z4 also counts with a camera in the back with a lot better 48 mega-pixels resolution, higher video frame rate and a way bigger sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photographs.

Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto Z4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto Z4. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Moto Z4, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
