Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium is just a bit better than Motorola Moto Z4, having a score of 82.2 against 79.8. Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device than Motorola Moto Z4, it must be noted that it's also older, much thicker and way heavier. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little bit better processing power than Motorola Moto Z4, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features an incredibly better looking display than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a much higher pixels density. The Motorola Moto Z4 has a much better camera than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Moto Z4 also has a larger camera aperture to capture better photos and video in poorly lited environments, a bigger back camera sensor providing a better image quality and a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
The Moto Z4 features much more memory to install applications and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. Moto Z4 counts with a little better battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 3600mAh battery size.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto Z4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto Z4. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, else you can save some money and buy the Moto Z4, resigning some specs and features.
