Comparison review

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a little bit better than the Moto Z4, with a 79.8 score against 79.8. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has older 5.1 version and Moto Z4 has Android 10 version. Despite being the best cellphone we compare here, we must note that it's also incredibly older, a little bit heavier and just a little bit thicker.

The Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit better CPU than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a much sharper screen than Moto Z4, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better 3840 x 2160 resolution and a much greater display density.

The Motorola Moto Z4 counts with just a bit better camera than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Motorola Moto Z4 also has a way more mega-pixels camera, a larger diafragm aperture to capture better images in low-light environments and a bigger sensor.

Moto Z4 features a superior memory for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage. Motorola Moto Z4 has a bit superior battery lifetime than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 5 percent greater battery size.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is a little more expensive than the Motorola Moto Z4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Moto Z4. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Xperia Z5 Premium, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Motorola Moto Z4, giving up a couple features and specifications.
