The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is just a bit better than Moto Z4, with an 82.3 score against 79.8. Although it's the best in this review, Xiaomi Black Shark 2's body is somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker than Moto Z4. Both phones we are comparing have the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so both should provide the user the same operating system features.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a little more vivid screen than Motorola Moto Z4. They have the same exact 1080 x 2340px resolution, a display with the same size and a greater quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. Moto Z4 has a much bigger storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Moto Z4 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a little faster CPU than Moto Z4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 counts with a bit superior battery life than Moto Z4, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3600mAh.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 and Moto Z4 feature very similar cameras, and although the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking pictures and/or video in low light environments, they both have the same video frame rate, a same resolution camera, the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same back camera sensor size.
