The Motorola One 5G Ace is slightly better than the Sony Xperia 5, getting a score of 81.6 against 81. Motorola One 5G Ace's body is newer than Sony Xperia 5's, although it's a lot heavier and thicker. Sony Xperia 5 has just a bit better processing power than Motorola One 5G Ace, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia 5 also has more RAM.

Xperia 5 counts with a little more vivid display than Motorola One 5G Ace, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2520 resolution and a little bit better amount of pixels in each screen inch. The Motorola One 5G Ace counts with a superior camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for taking photos in low-light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Motorola One 5G Ace also counts with a back facing camera with a much higher 48 megapixels resolution.

Xperia 5 features just a bit bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola One 5G Ace, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds 512 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Motorola One 5G Ace counts with a way better battery life than Xperia 5, because it has a 59 percent greater battery capacity.
