The Motorola One 5G has a score of 84.6, which is much better than the OnePlus 8's 76 overall score. Despite being the best device in this comparison review, the Motorola One 5G is a somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker device than the OnePlus 8. OnePlus 8 counts with a little faster CPU than Motorola One 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OnePlus 8 also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 has a sharper display than Motorola One 5G, although it has a little smaller screen, a little bit worse amount of pixels per inch of screen and a little bit worse 1080 x 2400 resolution. OnePlus 8 captures clearer videos and photos than Motorola One 5G, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting images and videos in low light situations, and they both have a same resolution camera, the same back-facing camera sensor size and the same video quality, the OnePlus 8 also counts with higher 60 frames per second video frame rate.
The Motorola One 5G has a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than OnePlus 8, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Motorola One 5G also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. The Motorola One 5G counts with improved battery lifetime than OnePlus 8, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
Motorola One 5G costs more than OnePlus 8, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
