Comparison review
Motorola One Hyper is a bit better than the Huawei P20, having a 79.8 score against 78.1. The Motorola One Hyper body is newer than the Huawei P20's, but it's thicker and heavier. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Motorola One Hyper has 11 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Huawei P20 features a little bit better looking screen than Motorola One Hyper, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2244px, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the screen. Huawei P20 has just a little better performance than Motorola One Hyper. Both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.
Motorola One Hyper captures better photographs and videos than Huawei P20, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Motorola One Hyper also counts with a lot more MP back-facing camera.
Motorola One Hyper features a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P20, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Motorola One Hyper also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB. Motorola One Hyper features improved battery life than Huawei P20, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3400mAh.
Although Motorola One Hyper is a better device, it is more expensive than the Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P20. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Motorola One Hyper, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Huawei P20, resigning some specifications.
