The Motorola One Hyper is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 40, having a score of 79.8 against 77.2. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola One Hyper has the older 11 version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13. Despite being the best cellphone in this comparison review, Motorola One Hyper is a noticeably older, thicker and heavier cellphone than Motorola Edge 40.
The Motorola One Hyper counts with a much powerful CPU than Motorola Edge 40, although it has less RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. Motorola Edge 40 counts with a brighter screen than Motorola One Hyper, and although they both have a same size display, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a just a little greater pixel count per inch in the display.
The Motorola One Hyper has a way bigger storage for games and applications than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Motorola One Hyper also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB. Motorola Edge 40 counts with a little bit better camera than Motorola One Hyper, because although it has a worse video definition and a camera with a much worse 50 MP resolution, it also counts with a lot larger aperture to capture better photos and video in low-light environments.
The Motorola Edge 40 features a little better battery performance than Motorola One Hyper, because it has a 10 percent larger battery capacity.
