Galaxy A8 Star is just a bit better than Motorola One Hyper, getting a global score of 82.1 against 79.8. Although the Galaxy A8 Star is older than Motorola One Hyper, it's design is thinner and a little lighter. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A8 Star has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Motorola One Hyper has Android 11.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a little faster processor than Motorola One Hyper, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy A8 Star and Motorola One Hyper feature quite similar screens, although the Galaxy A8 Star has a quite smaller display, a quite lower screen density and a quite lower 1080 x 2220 resolution.
