Comparison review

The Sony Xperia 5 has an overall score of 81, which is a bit better than the Motorola One Hyper's overall score of 79.8. Sony Xperia 5 is a a little thinner and somewhat lighter phone than Motorola One Hyper, even though both were only released with a couple months difference. The Sony Xperia 5 features a little bit better processing power than Motorola One Hyper, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a higher amount of RAM.

The Xperia 5 features a little sharper screen than Motorola One Hyper, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520px. Motorola One Hyper has a superior camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for capturing photos or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Motorola One Hyper also counts with a much better 64 mega-pixels resolution camera.

Motorola One Hyper has a little bit better storage for apps and games than Xperia 5, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Motorola One Hyper also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 1000 GB. Motorola One Hyper features better battery lifetime than Xperia 5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola One Hyper, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola One Hyper. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia 5, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Motorola One Hyper, giving up some specs and features.
