The Galaxy J8 is a little bit better than the Motorola One Power, with a 76.7 score against 75.7. Galaxy J8 is a a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter phone than Motorola One Power, even when both were released with only a couple months difference. Both phones in this review come with the same Android 10 operating system.
The Motorola One Power has a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a higher pixel quantity per inch in the screen, a bit bigger display and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels. Samsung Galaxy J8 has as much memory capacity for applications and games as Motorola One Power, both of them have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 has a processor that's just as good as the Motorola One Power one, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. Motorola One Power features a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. The Motorola One Power takes slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light images and video, and they both have a back facing camera with a 16 megapixels resolution, the Motorola One Power also counts with a lot better video quality.
